French traders submitted bids for 240,370 tonnes of wheat stored in intervention stocks at the EU tender for sale onto the domestic EU market, French grain office ONIC said on Thursday.
ONIC gave prices as between 106.50 and 153.55 euros a tonne.
The EU agreed to open tenders for almost 700,000 tonnes of wheat to relieve a tight grains market due to bad weather conditions during crops' growth.
There were no bids for intervention barley.
The European Union grain management committee will decide whether or not to accept the bids later on Thursday.
