Both the Pak rupee and the US dollar held their values firm amid thin trading activity in the Interbank Forex Market.
The "spot" market opened with the US dollar changing hands in the range of Rs 57.32 and Rs 57.34 as respective buying and selling rates.
Comfortable supply of the greenback in the market marginally surged the value of the Pak rupee by 1.0 paisa each in bid and offer at Rs 57.31 and Rs 57.33.
The market closed unchanged on these rates due to lacklustre trading in the market.
In swap transactions, prices most of the tenures swelled marginally. 1-week swap was dealt in the range of -2.0 paisa and -1.0 paisa.
