A number of colourful events have been arranged on the eve of World Women's Day in the district by different organisations while "Stop Honour Killing" would be the sole theme of the day to be observed on March 8.
Office-bearers of Pattan Development Organisation, women councillors' network, stated this in a joint press conference here on Friday and announced constitution of a number of programme committees in this connection.
