Flag of any country represents the country itself the world over. Soldiers die for its dignity and pride. A raised flag means there is peace and harmony in the country. Its position on different occasions signals the feelings experienced by the nation as a whole.
That means a flag expresses or represents the whole nation and we must respect it and give it the place it deserves in our society as well as in our heart.
Everybody, a Pakistani national, has love and affection for the flag and the country and when one sees the condition of a flag which was supposed to be fluttering in the wind raised high on a building, torn and covered with dirt at the office of Sindh Wildlife Management Board in front of Sidco Centre gives a shock.
No senior official of the Wildlife Board took notice of it. There must be some one who takes care of the flag on and off and changes it whenever it gets dirty but instead of doing such exercise no one even bothers to inform or takes notice as the workers at that place must look at the flag daily and they are doing nothing to replace it.
The concerned officials must recognise the situation and take action against the person or persons responsible for this neglect.
