Police put on high alert in Sindh

Sindh Chief Minister Sardar Ali Mohammad Khan Mahar has directed Sindh IGP Syed Kamal Shah to put police on high alert across the province following the suicidal attack at an Imambargah in Rawalpindi.
He has asked the Sindh IGP to strengthen the security network in the province particularly on the eve of Ashura and that fool-proof vigilance be ensured to contain iniquitous elements, and those who may invoke communal disarray besides, instigating hatred among masses.
Mahar also appealed to the people to ensure solidarity in their ranks and counter attempts to cause chaos and disharmony.
