Jordan's Crown Prince Hassan Bin Talal called on President General Pervez Musharraf on Thursday and delivered a written message to the President from King Abdullah-II of Jordan, dealing with bilateral matters and issues confronting the Islamic Ummah.
The Crown Prince, who is on a visit to Islamabad, also called on Prime Minister Mir Zafarullah Khan Jamali.
The Jordanian Prince reviewed with the President regional developments in the Middle East and South Asia.
He expressed appreciation and admiration for the President's initiative to seek greater understanding between civilisations based on the concept of enlightened moderation.
The President briefed him on the current status of relations with India, the situation in Afghanistan and Pakistan's position on the Arab-Israeli conflict. The President, later, hosted a lunch for Prince Hassan Bin Talal.
