The fourth annual industrial exhibition will be inaugurated here on Friday, said Gujranwala Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GCCI) chairman, Shaukat Javed.
The Punjab Food Minister, Chaudhry Mohammed Iqbal will inaugurate the event, which will continue till March 26.
The GCCI chief told newsman that the exhibition, in which about a hundred units will be displaying their products, is being held in collaboration with Export Promotion Bureau (EPB) for the consecutive last three years.
"An occasion like this is deemed quite important for an industrial city like Gujranwala which has achieved $200 million exports annually on average for the last three years," he said.
He observed that members of GCCI are ready to face the WTO challenges, and are already exporting various items to Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Nigeria, Saudi Arab, USA, UK and EU countries.
