A 26-member rice exporters' delegation from Pakistan, led by Abdul Rahim Janoo, will leave for India on March 9.
The delegation will visit New Delhi, Agra, Ajmer and Mumbai.
The delegation, which met Prime Minister Mir Zafarullah Khan Jamali on March 4, discussed with him the programme in India.
A very busy programme awaits Pakistani delegation, which includes meetings with Indian Prime Minister Atal Behari Vajpayee, Chief Ministers of Delhi and Maharashtra, Indian Federation of Chambers of Commerce etc.
The delegation will also visit international Basmati congress, being organised by the Indian Rice Exporters Association.
All India Memon Federation will host a dinner in honour of the Pakistani delegation.
The delegation will look for good quality rice machinery to recapture the lost market in Africa and Saudi Arabia.
Janoo will also sign a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on behalf of the Rice Exporters Association of Pakistan (Reap) with All India Rice Exporters Association to remove any difficulty that exists regarding rice trade between Pakistan and India.
