Seven teenagers were killed and 14 injured when a minibus carrying 22 high-school students collided head-on with a truck in southern Vietnam, police said Sunday.
The high-speed crash happened Saturday on the country's main north-south highway in Dong Nai province when the truck encroached onto the other side of the road while trying to overtake, said a local traffic policeman.
Six students, aged between 16 and 17 years old, were killed instantly while another died later in hospital. Fourteen others were hospitalised with serious injuries.
