Ireland's IAWS said on Tuesday a strong performance from its food division offset challenging market conditions in agribusiness, powering a 26 percent climb in first-half profits before tax and goodwill.
IAWS, which makes speciality breads and ready-to-eat meals, as well as selling fertilisers and other farm products, said the strength of the euro and sterling against the dollar cut profits by about four percent in the six months to the end of January.
