Gram varieties under went quite a few changes on the seed and grain wholesale markets on Tuesday (March 09, 2004).
On the gram side, beetle chana I was quoted sharply higher at Rs 1600 and better up at Rs 1650, beetle chana 50x50 up Rs 55 to Rs 1525 and better up Rs 75 to Rs 1572, beetle dal up Rs 25 to Rs 1750 and better up same amount to Rs 1800, gram new up Rs 70 to Rs 1510 and better up same amount to Rs 1540.
Gram dal up Rs 25 to Rs 1700 and up Rs 5 to Rs 1730, bajra up Rs 20 to Rs 870 and better quoted at Rs 900. Khandsari inferior quoted at Rs 1650 and better down Rs 50 to Rs 1800.
Irri 6 Sindh down Rs 25 to Rs 1225, rapeseed cakes up Rs 7 to Rs 245 and better up Rs 10 to Rs 250.
Tuver Sindh and Punjab up Rs 2 to Rs 1565.
