Activity at Karachi and Qasim ports

The Karachi Port handled 25,522 tonnes of cargo including 10,117 tonnes import and 15,405 tonnes export cargo during last 24 hours ending at 0700 hours on Tuesday.
The cargo comprised of 18,073 tonnes dry and 7,449 tonnes liquid cargo.
Four ships namely Flame, Cheyenng, Shalamar and Bow Merkur sailed to sea during the report period.
Five vessels viz Kota Waris, Bolan, Bom Dong, Cheyenng and Lauren are currently at the berths.
Two ships namely M. V. Corinthaikos and Kota Waris expected to sail on Tuesday, while two vessels viz Kota Intan and Bom Dong are expected to sail on Wednesday.
Two ships namely Apl Venezuela and Gevo-II due to arrive on Tuesday, while five vessels viz Clipper, Australia Bridge, Ponl Mahe, Bunga Bidara and Hyundai Highway are due to arrive on Wednesday.

The cargo comprised of 9,500 tonnes edible oil; 18,811 tonnes diesel oil and 10,353 tonnes containerised cargo.
Oil tanker Chemstar Moon sailed out to sea on Tuesday morning, while another vessel Contship Indigo is expected to sail on the same day afternoon.
A total of eight vessels viz Blue Zenith, Federal Hudson, Keefan, Unix Bright, Isokaze, Safmarine Prime, Sea Swan and Oriental are currently at the outer anchorage.
Three ships namely Unix Bright, Isokaze and Safmarine Prime due to take berths on Tuesday.
Container vessel Saudi Hofuf due to arrive on Tuesday, while another ship M. V. Pearl of Fujairah is due to arrive on Wednesday.
