The contribution of newly appointed Central Board of Revenue Chairman Abdullah M. Yousuf towards rapid development of compressed natural gas (CNG) industry is indeed laudable with the result that the country receives huge foreign exchange.
CNG Station Owners Association of Pakistan Chairman Malik Khuda stated this, while congratulating Abdullah Yusuf for assuming the charge of CBR chairman on Friday.
He said the former petroleum secretary had shown strong commitment towards establishing CNG industry, which was widely appreciated and the new responsibilities assigned by the government would help in establishing a cordial relation between the CBR and the taxpayers in the country.
He termed it the most appropriate decision taken by the present government, as Abdullah Yusuf has a vast experience in privatisation, Board of Investment (BoI) and Petroleum and Natural Resources Ministry.
He also introduced the mono-grade petrol in Pakistan, which eliminates adulteration in petrol, he said, adding that he had also worked for enhancing petroleum dealer's commission to give an opportunity to them to work honestly, he added.
