Daler Mehdi praises Imran's work for humanity

Artists and players can play a vital role in normalising relations between India and Pakistan, as both are messengers of love and peace.
These views were expressed by Indian Pop Singer Daler Singh Mehdi, while giving an interview to D.M. Recording Company, Delhi regarding his forthcoming visit to Pakistan.
"I will perform for Imran Khan whenever and wherever he invites me as I believe his is working for a very noble cause and it's not my duty only but also a great honour to perform in charity show for Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital (SKMCH)," he said.
Daler Mehdi said Imran Khan was doing a wonderful work for the humanity. He said Indian singer Salman Khan, artist Aishwariya Rai and he himself were inspired by Imran and started some welfare projects in India. He said he has heard that some Pakistani artists have also followed Imran in this field which was certainly a good sign.
He said all the artists and players should come forward and jointly participate in the welfare projects of Asia, irrespective of their nationality.
He said that several known sportsmen and artists were visiting Pakistan to watch India-Pakistan cricket series and they would definitely attend SKMCH fundraiser.
He said that Sunil Gavaskar and Kapil Dev would join hands with legend Imran Khan and Wasim Akram in appealing the people to donate funds for the SKMCH during the charity shows.
He also said that during his visit to Pakistan he would visit Nankana Sahib and Panja Sahib to pay his respect. He also plans to visit the shrines of Hazrat Data Gung Bukhsh and Hazrat Lal Shehbaz Qalander.
