African envoys praise Pakistan's fight against terrorism

The African group of heads of missions accredited to Pakistan, expressed full solidarity in their fight, together with the international community, against terrorism in all its forms.
The African envoys' meeting was held under the chairmanship of South Africa's High Commissioner, Dean of the African Group in Pakistan, Moosa Moolla, at the residence of the South African ambassador.
The African heads of missions reviewed the developments in South Asia and expressed satisfaction at the successful outcome of the Pak-India dialogue in Islamabad.
They reiterated appreciation of the positive steps aimed at normalising relations between the two neighbours, to ensure stability and security to all the peoples of South Asia and praised the wisdom of the Pakistan and Indian leaders.
The deliberations focused on the upcoming activities of the Group during the year 2004, and on reasserting the priority of further promoting and enhancing Pak-African relations in all fields.
In view of the recent positive developments in Africa on the political and economic fronts, the African envoys reiterated the determination to further expand trade and investment opportunities with Pakistan as well as consolidate relations in industrial production, information technology, agriculture and food security as well as textiles and clothing.
