PPP flays Nazimeen for joining PML-Q

Khurshid Ahmed Khan, an ex-MPA and President of PPP Multan, has said that 96 Nazimeen and Naib Nazimeen have announced to join the PML-Q during the visit of Punjab Chief Minister Chaudhry Pervaiz Ellahi describing it a self-deception because they were elected with the support of administration when they ensured that they would remain loyal to ruling party even District Nazim Riaz Hussain Qureshi was elected when he joined PML-Q.
In a press statement, he said that turncoats who were expelled by their parties are being included in the ruling party and past mistakes are being repeated.
He said that District Nazim Bahawalpur Tariq Cheema was expelled from PPP on January 9, 2003 when he opposed the PPP nominee Barrister Taj Muhammad Khan Langah and supported Syed Tasneen Nawaz Gardezi.
He said that those 96 Nazimeen and Naib Nazimeen who have announced to join PML-Q on Thursday were already in this party.
Khurshid Ahmed Khan said that present regime was repeating the past mistakes by pressurising some MPAs,. MNAs to change their loyalties and it must be stopped forthwith otherwise it would have serious repercussion.
