The largest contingent of Japanese troops to date arrived in Kuwait on Sunday en route to a humanitarian mission in Iraq.
The 190 members of the Japanese Ground self-defence Force, including 11 women, arrived aboard two Japanese government planes at the Mubarak air base on the outskirts of Kuwait City.
