Hafiz Hussain Ahmed, Central leader of Muttahida Majlis-i-Amal (MMA) said on Sunday the heads of the MMA's component parties are meeting in Islamabad on March 17.
Talking to newsmen on the conclusion of a seminar held here at Hamdard Centre, under the auspices of Islami Jamiat-e-Tulba, Pakistan, the MMA leader said that current political situation and some other issues would come up for discussion in the meeting.
Replying to a question, Hafiz Hussain Ahmed hoped that Professor Saud Mir and Maulana Samiul Haq would also attend the meeting.
To a query, he said the MMA leaders had met the leaders of the Alliance for Restoration of Democracy (ARD), who has given them a positive response.
