Sindh government to impose entry fee for historical places

Sindh Government has decided to charge entry fee for visits to historical places.
In this behalf, the main places being mentioned are Makli Hills near Thatta, Moen jo Daro in Larkana District, and the Fort of Umerkot.
According to sources, tender for collection of the fee is expected to be issued on Monday, March 15.
The rate of the 'tax' will be specified in the tender.
There is a graveyard in the area of Makli Hills. It is not known what would be the position about burial of dead bodies in the grave yard.
Sources said that a lot of money would come to the provincial exchequer after the imposition of entry fee for these places.
