Activity at Karachi and Qasim ports

The Karachi Port handled 105,389 tonnes of cargo including 84,371 tonnes import and 21,018 tonnes export cargo during last 24 hours ending at 0700 hours on Saturday.
The cargo comprised of 67,939 tonnes dry and 37,450 tonnes liquid cargo.
Seven ships namely Hammurabi, Clipper, Pac Aries, Festa, Alkyon, Khalid and Nur Yanbu sailed to sea during the report period.
Six vessels viz Tiger Cloud, Apl Portugal, Festa, Loul Wat Qatar, Merkur Tide and Delmas Seychilles are currently at the berths.
Four ships namely Flame, Bolan, Oriental Bright and Delmas Seychilles expected to sail on Saturday, while four vessels viz Loul Wat Qatar, Tiger Cloud, Makra and Orient Stride are expected to sail on Sunday.
Four ships namely Keefan, Kota Teguh, Kota Permas and Dong He due to arrive on Saturday, while three vessels viz Kota Wajar, S. Caboto and Bunga Terasek are due to arrive on Sunday.

A total cargo volume of 35,080 tonnes including 17,689 tonnes import and 17,391 tonnes export cargo was handled during last 24 hours ending at 0800 hours on Saturday.
The cargo comprised of 5,980 tonnes edible oil; 1,514 tonnes chemicals; 4,143 tonnes seeds and 23,443 tonnes containerised cargo.
Two container vessels namely Norasia Noor and MSC Serena sailed out to sea on Saturday morning.
A total of four vessels viz Blue Zenith, Federal Hudson, Sea Swan and Oriental are currently at the outer anchorage.
Two ships namely MSC Maria and Harmony due to take berths on Saturday.
C. V. Marvia due to arrive on Sunday, while three more ships namely CGM Capella, Yanasena and Al Farabi are due to arrive on Monday.
