Mourning Day observed against Yassin's assassination

Political and politico-religious parties observed mourning day in south Punjab to condemn the killing of Hamas leader Sheikh Ahmed Yassin describing it a barbaric crime.
Nawabzada Mansoor Ahmed Khan, acting President of the Alliance for Restoration of Democracy (ARD), said, " Palestinians' movement would be geared up with the assassination of great freedom fighter Sheikh Ahmed Yassin" and "we vehemently condemn the act of Israeli forces."
He said: "Israel may have buried the peace process along with any hope of resolving the bloody Arab-Israel conflict."
Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani, Vice-Chairman of the PPP, said , "Hamas leader's killing will unleash a new spiral of violence in the region blighted by decades of conflict."
Pakistani nation in general and the PPP activists in particular, were grieved and sad on his murder, he said and described the murder a condemn-able act of Israel.
Meanwhile, the PML-N organised a rally, which began from the Khogani House and terminated at Octroi Post-No 6 on Tuesday under the leadership of former Punjab minister Iqbal Khan Khakwani.
