Cricket team manager Haroon Rasheed said on Friday that Pakistan would bounce back in the Test series after losing a very well contested live-match one day international series against India.
Obviously we are disappointed over the defeat in one day series but morale of the team is high and Pakistan team will make a come back in the Test series", said Haroon Rasheed while addressing a press conference after Pakistan team's practice sessions in the nets at Multan Cricket Stadium.
Re-called spin wizard Danish Kaneria and promising left handed batsman Aasim karnal were also present.
"Tough contest in the one day series we witnessed was a good preamble for the -forthcoming Test series", he said.
When asked about defeat in the fifth one day match, he said. Pakistan team made more mistakes and lost more chances than Indians.
No one plays for losing", Haroon said adding "It was perhaps not our day." When asked about pitch condition, he said, he would be able to comment on how Multan turf would play on Saturday evening.
Commenting on changes -from one day team for Test series, he said, some players are better one day players and some more suitable for Tests. It is the PCB's policy to select suitable players for one days and Tests, he added.
Pakistan recalled four players including Danish Kaneria, Asim Kamal, Misbahul Haq and Umar Gul replacing Shahid Afridi, Younis Khan and Rana Naveedul Hassan who were the part of one day squad.
India also reinforced its side for Test series by recalling Anil Kumble, Ajit Agarkar and opening batsman Akash Chopra.
Both teams on Friday had practice sessions in the nets. On Saturday, officials and captains of both teams would have a photo session and address press conferences alter practice in the nets.
