Range-bound trading was again witnessed in the interbank market at the weekend as the rupee did not show any major change in its overnight levels for buying and selling at Rs 57.51 and Rs 57.53, respectively.
The market men said the rupee held its prevailing levels due to balanced demand and supply of the dollar, which gave up its weakness versus the leading currencies in the international markets.
