People's Party team meets Hurriyat leaders

A seven-member group of Pakistani parliamentarians met the leaders of Hurriyat Conference (A) in New Delhi and hailed the dialogue between the Indian Deputy Prime Minister and Abbas-led Hurriyat Conference, a Hurriyat (A) release said on Monday.
According to the statement, the meeting took place at the residence of noted lawyer Ram Jethmalani.
The delegation, led by Pakistan People's Party Chairman Makhdoom Amin Faheem, had a two-hour long discussion with Abbas Ansari and his three other colleagues. Makhdoom Amin, while observing the essence of dialogue and confidence-building measures, asserted that the process of dialogue between Hurriyat (A) and New Delhi was a must for the restoration of peace and trust in the subcontinent. "Hurriyat-Advani talks are a step toward right direction and a genuine exercise," the statement quotes him as having said during the session.
SKM WARNS: Meanwhile, the Save Kashmir Movement (SKM) has warned the Hurriyat Conference, led by Abbas Ansari to desist from playing with the sentiments of the people.
In a statement, the spokesman of SKM said: "Nobody shall be allowed to build castles on the graves of the martyrs."
