US exporters sell corn

Private exporters reported the sale of 165,000 tonnes of corn to unknown destinations for the 2003/04 marketing year, the US Agriculture Department said on Tuesday.
The marketing year for corn began on September 1.
US exporters must report any US or optional origin export sales activity of at least 100,000 tonnes - except 20,000 tonnes or more for soybean oil - made in one day to a single destination by the following business day. Sales of smaller quantities must be reported weekly.
