Dengue virus takes life of five more

In Lahore, Farhat 35, resident of leather market, Jawaria 23 from Township and Arsalan 14 from Band Road died of dengue virus, reported a private news channel on Monday.

Shakeela from Sialkot who was being treated in Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, also died. In Multan, five more patients of Dengue were admitted to Nishtar Hospital.

In Gujranwal, Mussrat Bibi, 45, was also reported dead. Three more patients were admitted to the District Hospital Gujranwala. There are 86 patients of dengue in Gujranwala.

In Dera Ghazi Khan four patients were confirmed to have dengue virus. Total number of patients in DG Khan is 36. Six patients have died. In Bahawalpur, Sialkot and Sargodha, 14, 3 and 9 patients of dengue were admitted.

In KPK, 180 patients were diagnosed with dengue virus in the province while 5 patients were admitted in Lady Reading Hospital.
