At least seven former Indian skippers would visit Pakistan to watch the last two Test matches between India and Pakistan at Lahore and Rawalpindi on invitation by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI).
Four of these skippers including 1983 World Cup winning team captain Kapil Dev would be travelling to Lahore to watch the second Test match beginning on April 5, according to BCCI sources.
Apart from Kapil, others to visit Lahore are Chandu Borde, G R Vishwanath and Dilip Vengsarkar, the sources said adding that they would be special guests of Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB).
Ajit Wadekar has also accepted the BCCI's invitation to travel to Rawalpindi to watch the final Test from April 13 and similar confirmations from Mansur Ali Khan Pataudi and Venkataraghavan were also expected, the sources said.
Four others like B S Bedi, Sunil Gavaskar, K Srikkanth and Ravi Shastri could not accept it due to their own media commitments.
