'Parliament to complete term'

Senator Muhammad Ali Durrani, Secretary General, Millat Party, addressing a press conference here on Sunday said that after approval of the National Security Council (NSC), affects of 58(2)B would evanesce.
He stated that government instead of bulldozing the issue of NSC had referred the matter to a committee, whose recommendations would be submitted in the Assembly, he added.
Stating that parliament would complete its term and with adoption of NSC by assembly, thinking of deprivation of smaller provinces will finish, he added.
Referring to attitude of opposition parties, Durrani stated that it was undemocratic, they had nothing to offer to the nation, he added.
Durrani said that Muttahida Majlis-i-Amal (MMA) through 17th amendment had upheld cause of democracy in the country, he added.
Referring to Wana operation, he said its solution should be sought through talks and dialogue.
