Bhutto's 25th death anniversary observed

The 25th death anniversary of Zulfikar Ali Bhutto was observed throughout the country and flower wreaths were laid at the grave of late Zulfikar Ali Bhutto in Garhi Khuda Bux.
Several functions were organised including the main function at the Central Secretariat of Pakistan Peoples Party, Islamabad that was organised by Nargis Faiz Malik, president of the PPP women wing in Islamabad.
A large number of party workers attended the function and offered Quran Khwani and Fateha. Quran Khwani was also organised by Fauzai Habib MNA and Rukhsana Bungish at Phansi Ghat of Rawalpindi jail.
Khalid Nawaz Boby President Pakistan Peoples Federation also arranged a function at his residence where workers and supporters of PPP gathered and paid rich tributes to their leader.
The speakers at these functions reiterated to follow the ideals of late Zulfikar Ali Bhutto.
They also demanded of the government to release Senator Asif Ali Zardari and to assure safety of Benazir Bhutto on her return to Pakistan and prayed for the prosperity and security of the country.
