US technology stocks fell on Tuesday as a disappointing forecast from cellphone giant Nokia Corp sparked a sell-off in heavyweights like IBM and Intel.
The blue chip Dow hovered near unchanged. The Nasdaq Composite Index was down 25 points, or 1.19 percent, at 2,054.
The Dow Jones industrial average was down 8 points, or 0.08 percent, at 10,550. The Standard & Poor's 500 Index was down 5 points, or 0.41 percent, at 1,146.
