India to support Pakistan at WTO: Faheem

ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Trade Makhdoom Ameen Faheem on Monday said that India will support Pakistan at World Tra

Talking to PTV, he said that Pakistan will be benefit from Indian support at WTO.

Minister said that the Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh accepted the invitation to visit Pakistan and also emphasized to make trade talks constructive.

To a question, he said that the aim of Pakistan and India is to increase trade volume which is expected to be increased up to $6 billion in next three years.

He said India wants a stable and prosperous Pakistan and barriers in path of bilateral trade will be removed.

He expressed the belief of beginning a golden era in trade relations between Pakistan and India.

Minister said that both the countries have made preparations to open bank branches in each other's countries and routes for promotion of trade.

To another question, he said that business activities will soon be increased between the two countries and all the hurdles in this respect will be removed.

He said this will convey good intentions of the Governments of both countries to the trade community.
