Balochistan Governor Owais Ghani has said that the first phase of Pakistan's third deep sea port at Gwadar along Makran coast would be completed by our time tested friend China early next year.
Addressing a representative gathering at Awaran (Makran), Governor Ghani said that with the completion and commission of the Gwadar deep-sea port, Balochistan would be open up to national and international trade, tourism, commerce and industry. Gwadar would be hub of Pakistan's economy with national and international entrepreneurs actively participating in the industrial, commercial and residential development of Gwadar and all adjoining areas.
Pakistan Railways network would be extended to Gwadar via Chagai district and national highways via Khuzdar to Rato Dero (Sindh) and to Chaman (Pak-Afghan town) through Khuzdar and Quetta.
