'Madaris playing vital role in promoting education'

Federal Minister for Religious Affairs Ejaz ul Haq on Sunday said Deeni Madarras are playing effective role in promoting free educational facilities to more than one million poor and deserving people.
Addressing a two-day seminar on the life of Maulana Abdul Hassan Ali Nadvi, here at Islamic University the federal minister said contribution of the Deeni Madaris could not be denied at any cost.
The minister said government did not plan to change the curriculum for Deeni Madaris and there was absolutely no proposal to impose any thing for the students of Deeni Madarras.
Ejaz ul Haq said government only wants that some subjects should be included in the curriculum of the Deeni Madarras so that the students after completing the education from these Madaris could get good jobs in different fields.
The federal minister while appreciating the contribution of Maulana Abdul Hassan Nadvi emphasised the need to follow his golden principles.
