The Amir of Jamaat-i-Islami, Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Sardar Ejaz Afzal Khan, has said that the people of occupied Kashmir have rejected the Indian polls drama with contempt.
Talking to a Kashmiri delegation, headed by Sheikh Tajammul-ul-Islam, on Monday, he said, "Kashmir is a disputed territory and people of Kashmir want their right of self-determination pledged to them under UN resolutions.
He said the people of occupied Jammu and Kashmir have always rejected polls dramas staged by the Indian government. He predicted that this polls drama, staged by India, would further deteriorate the situation in Kashmir.
He said: "It is unfortunate that some fool friends in the ranks of the rulers have caused a great damage to the Kashmir cause."
He said: "Implementation of UN resolutions is the only solution of the Kashmir dispute and it can not be resolved under any other road map given by the world powers."
He said 'Pakistan first' slogan has weakened Pakistan's support on Kashmir and 'it is need of the hour to change our policies to make further collapse'.
