District Nazim Raja Tariq Mehboob Kiani has said that during the three day anti-polio campaign to be started from April 20, he will remain in the field to supervise the drive and make it a success.
"I will monitor the mobile teams constituted for polio vaccination and any one found guilty of negligence will be given exemplary punishment" Kiani said during a review meeting of the three-day polio campaign held at EDO health's office on Monday.
Nazim called upon people from all walks of life to co-operate with the government in its campaign to eradicate the killer disease of polio from the country.
"We have to use full force and full efforts with dedication to make Pakistan a polio free country in order to save our future", he added.
Tariq Kiani has called upon the employees who are deputed on duty of vaccination to take it as a national duty and discharge it with complete devotion and dedication to the nation.
"It is necessary for making the district a polio free district", he added.
He said that during last two years no children was affected by the polio but keeping in view the geographic conditions, all people have to remain vigilant and take united efforts to fight this disease.
He said that a polio free district is on top of the district government's agenda but it is not possible without active participation of people from all walks of life.
"We have decided to launch the third round of anti-polio campaign with zeal", he added.
