Ring leader of car snatchers arrested

The Secretariat Police, Islamabad on Tuesday arrested chief of a gang involved in cases of snatching cars at gunpoint and recovered a taxi from his possession.
According to details, Ehsan lodged report with the Secretariat Police Station that some unknown dacoits deprived him from a yellow cab bearing registration number MRA-520 at gunpoint when he was on his way to Margalla Town with passengers late night.
On the strict directives of SSP Islamabad Shahid Nadeem Baloch, DSP Secretariat Chaudhry Liaquat started investigation and finally booked the ringleader of inter-provincial car-lifter gang.
Meanwhile, Sihala Police have rounded up two persons including Fida Hussain and Shaheen Khan for violating the ban imposed by the Deputy Commissioner Islamabad on brick kilns here on Tuesday morning.
They were taken into custody during the surprise raids conducted by magistrate Malik Afsar Khan, on the directive of DC for defying the ban.
DC under section 144 has ordered to close down all 'Bhatta Khisht' doing their business in the territorial jurisdiction of federal capital for creating environmental pollution in the vicinity.
