Rs 10 million uplift projects start at Lahore General Hospital

Developmental projects including renovation of building and replacement of electric wire have been launched at a cost of Rs 10 million at the Lahore General Hospital (LGH).
LGH's Principal Professor Dr Ali Ajwad Shah said this while presiding over a meeting held to review the pace of work on these projects here on Tuesday.
The surgery block would also be upgraded, besides replacing 70 broken doors and fixing of tiles in private rooms and wards. The purchase order for doors has already been placed, he maintained.
He further said that electric wire measuring 5100 meter is being replaced at a cost of Rs 700,000 so that any mishap during coming rainy season could be avoided.
The hospital has also provided an amount of Rs 1.1 million to Highways Department for necessary repair of roads with in the hospital.
