Eight drown in Azad Kashmir

Eight people including a three-year old boy drowned when their overloaded jeep plunged into a river in Azad Kashmir on Thursday, police said.
The jeep was loaded with 11 people of whom, three survived the accident after being pulled from the river by onlookers.
The vehicle skidded off a narrow section of road, eight kilometres south of the capital Muzaffarabad at 9:30 am, senior police officer Khalid Chauhan told AFP.
