The Ministry of Religious Affairs, Zakat and Ushr is considering to start registration of tour operators and group organisers for Haj-2005.
Those registered will be required to follow Saudi instructions issued by the Saudi government for Haj-2OO5 Joint Secretary, Haj, Ministry of Religious Affairs, A R Abid told APP here on Friday.
"We have received instructions from the Saudi government for tour operators and group organisers for the forthcoming Haj, he added.
Giving details of the instructions, he said the organiser must be licensed to operate travel and tourism business by the concerned authorities as well as the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Such licenses must be endorsed by the embassy or consulate of Kingdom of Saudi Arabia located in the country in which the organiser is licensed, he added.
He said the organiser must have the necessary financial resources and the ability to comply with all requirements.
