Disabled teenager conquers North Pole

A 15-year-old Pole has become the youngest disabled person to walk to the North Pole unaided, private news channel TVN24 said on Sunday.
Jan Mela, who was fitted with artificial limbs after losing an arm and leg in a 2002 accident, was accompanied by veteran polar explorer Marek Kaminski and two other men, the television said.
