Activity at Karachi and Qasim ports

The Karachi Port handled 118,109 tonnes of cargo including 83,267 tonnes import and 34,842 tonnes export cargo during last 24 hours ending at 0700 hours on Friday.
The cargo comprised of 53,989 tonnes dry and 64,120 tonnes liquid cargo.
Six ships namely Kota Teraju, Ever Gather, Hyundai Future, Tiger Ocean, Amphion and Chem Baltic sailed out to sea during the report period.
Four vessels viz Tiger Ocean, Kota Merdesa, Safmarine Pakistan and Makran are currently at the berths.
Four ships namely Kota Merdesa, Safmarine Pakistan, Atlantida and Spring Greek expected to sail on Friday, while six vessels viz Bolan, Oriental Bright, Orient Stride, Global Spirit, Eastern Star and Anjum are expected to sail on Saturday.
M.V. Botany Trade due to arrive on Friday, while six vessels viz Nur Yan Bu, White Star, MT Swat, Talyo-II, Shina and Sunniva are due to arrive on Saturday.
Three ships namely Kota Teguh, Kota Permas and Top Rich are due to arrive on Sunday, while MT Johar is due to arrive on Monday.

The cargo comprised of 6,594 tonnes chemicals; 38,963 tonnes furnace oil; 21,606 tonnes iron ore and 23,596 tonnes containerised cargo.
Three vessels viz MSC Camille, Irene and Al-Mariyah sailed out to sea during the report period, while three more ships namely MT Nur Yan Bu, MSC Austria and Gulf Success are expected to sail on Friday afternoon.
A total of two vessels viz Kimolia Tis and Venture are currently at the outer anchorage.
Three ships namely CMA CGM Vernet, Safmarine Pakistan and MT Novena due to take berths on Friday.
Four vessels viz MT Chemstar Bele, MSC Selin, Chemroad Mega and Chem Adriatic due to arrive on Friday, while two more ships namely MT Qem Star and Ginga Kite are due to arrive on Saturday.
