All custom stations to remain open on May 2

The Collectorate of Customs (Export) decided on Friday to open all export stations on Sunday to process export consignments.
The decision was taken to facilitate the exports during the long weekend.
Accordingly, all customs export stations, container freight stations and terminals will remain open on Sunday (May 2), and goods declarations (GD) for the exports will be processed and consignments examined from 9 am to 6 pm.
An office order, issued by the Collectorate, said that during the long public holidays from Saturday to Monday, all exporting stations of the Export Collectorate, ie East Wharf, West Wharf, Air Freight Unit (AFU), Port Muhammad bin Qasim and inland stations of AICT, QFS, EPZ and Pak Shaheen would remain open on Sunday.
