LoI for $1.2 billion Munda power project to be signed on May 11

The signing ceremony of the Letter of Intent (LoI) between the government of Pakistan and a private American firm, M/s AMZO Corp, for the construction of $1.2 billion, 740MW Munda Hydroelectric Power Project will be held here on Tuesday.
The ceremony is to be held at the main office of Private Power and Infrastructure Board (PPIB).
This is the single largest private investment ever made in the field of hydroelectric power generation in the country's history.
Federal Minister for Water and Power, Aftab Ahmed Khan Sherpao, will be the chief guest.
