Foreign Secretary Riaz Khokhar leaves here for a four-day visit to three Scandinavian nations, Denmark, Sweden and Norway for consultations on mutual relations and the situation in South Asian region that will include a review of reconstruction process in Afghanistan and Pak-India relations.
A spokesman of the Foreign Office said here on Monday that Khokhar will be meeting his counterparts at Copenhagen, Stockholm and Oslo to brief them on the economic development within Pakistan.
The visit was aimed to add more "substance to the already existing friendly relations" with these countries, he explained.
The subjects for discussion will include situations in Afghanistan and Iraq, Pakistan-India relations, nuclear non-proliferation and the current campaign against terrorism, spokesman added.
He rounded of his opening statement with a condemnation of bomb attack in a Grozny Stadium that had claimed 32 lives including that of Chechen President Akhmad Kadrov on Sunday.
