Sindh Minister for Planning & Development Syed Shoaib Bukhari laid the foundation stone of the project to convert Rural Health Centre, Baldia Town, into a 50-bed Sindh Government Hospital on Monday.
Addressing on the occasion, he said that there was no hospital in this locality and member Sindh Assembly Asma Sheerani presented this project to upgrade the Rural Health Centre to a government hospital.
The project would be completed at a cost of Rs 41 million, he said. "We will try to add special ward, orthopaedic and kidney Centre to this project," he said.
Former minister K. S. Mujahid Baloch also spoke on the occasion.
