Excise and Taxation officers have been directed (ETOs) to expedite their efforts for recovering the government taxes so that the set targets could be achieved well in time and the additional money collected be used for the welfare of the people in the province.
The direction was made by Provincial Minister for Excise and Taxation, Advocate Fazli Rabbani, while chairing a meeting of all the ETOs of the province at Akbar Bagh Shehbaz Garhi Mardan.
Excise department Secretary, Khalid Hussain Gilani also addressed the meeting.
