KCCI hails opening of Lufthansa office in Karachi

Siraj Kassam Teli, President, Karachi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI), has welcomed the decision of Lufthansa German Airline of returning to Pakistan and termed the establishment of a modern Lufthansa House, as a first step to restart operation in Pakistan.
He complimented both, Hansa Management and Marketing Services and also Lufthansa for taking an initiative for addressing the need of travelling to the people Business community of Pakistan.
The KCCI chief believed that the Initiation of operation by Lufthansa was a pointer to the confidence of the foreign investors in the Pakistan's economic and political stability.
The KCCI President said, "Pakistan, by the grace of Allah, has been blessed with a central location in the regional aerial routes and its geo-strategic scene offers immense opportunities to many airlines as a hub for networking with the most economic connectivity to Middle-East, Europe and USA."
Teli observed that In addition, in the next couple of years, Pakistan's growth rate is projected in the range of 8 percent through accelerated, both domestic and foreign investment.
He, therefore, urged the government to pay more attention towards the development of modern infrastructure, including upgrading of existing airports.
