Activity at Karachi and Qasim ports

The Karachi Port handled 87,858 tonnes of cargo including 68,526 tonnes import and 19,332 tonnes export cargo during last 24 hours ending at 0700 hours on Wednesday.
The cargo comprised of 34,998 tonnes dry and 52,860 tonnes liquid cargo.
Three ships namely Corinthaikos, Desert Sky and Le He sailed out to sea during the report period.
Five vessels viz Apl Cairo, Bunga Delima, Oriental Bright, Gao He and Rov Pakia are currently at the berths.
Five ships namely Bow Merkur, Apl Cairo, Bunga Delima, Gao He and MT Shalamar expected to sail on Wednesday, while two vessels viz Al Mirqab and Diamond Park are expected to sail on Wednesday.
Three ships namely Tamyra, Hyundai Highway and Colombo due to arrive on Wednesday, while four vessels viz Safmarine Pakistan, Kota Teraju, Orient Stride and Gulf Fourtune are due to arrive on Thursday.

A total cargo volume of 73,725 tonnes including 64,324 tonnes import and 9,401 tonnes export cargo was handled during last 24 hours ending at 0800 hours on Wednesday.
The cargo comprised of 13,625 tonnes chemicals; 8,579 tonnes edible oil; 20,175 tonnes diesel oil, 10, 011 tonnes coal; and 21,435 tonnes containerised cargo.
Three container vessels viz P&O Nedlloyd Demietta, MSC Deila and MSC Carmen expected to sail on Wednesday.
Container vessel MSC Annick is currently at the outer anchorage and due to take berth on Wednesday.
Two ships namely E. R. Sydney and Al Mirqab due to arrive on Thursday, while another ship CV Safmarine Pakistan is due to arrive on Friday.
