Austria has expressed its willingness for revamping, upgrading and automation of different units of Pakistan Steel Mills.
A delegation of the Voest Alpine of Austria is visiting Pakistan, and will meet the Federal Industries and Production Minister Liaquat Ali Jatoi on Wednesday.
An official of the ministry said the group is interested in the revamping programme of continuous casters at steel making department and rolling mills in particular and upgrading, modernisation of automation and control system of the mills.
The minister will brief the delegation for future expansion plan of the Pakistan Steel and the detail of the MoU signed with Russia.
