Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI)'s delegation, currently on a ten-day visit to Kenya and South Africa, has arranged an exhibition of Pakistani products in the office of Pakistan High Commission in Mombassa (Kenya).
A LCCI's spokesman disclosed this here on Tuesday. According to him, the exhibition was attended by a large number of people who showed a keen interest in the Pakistani products. Oklo Sam, Vice-Chairman of Kenya National Chamber of Commerce and Industry, on the occasion invited the Pakistani delegation to participate in an exhibition to be held in August and September.
The Vice-Chairman assured the delegation to extend all out help for strengthening business relations between the two countries and also assured of making visa process easy for the Pakistani businessmen.
In second leg of their visit, the delegation visited South Africa where they interacted with the South African businessmen, who were invited to invest in Pakistan. With the courtesy of Pakistani Embassy in South Africa, the delegation also met Director General of Asia Ministry of Trade, Industry and Investment of South Africa.
He told the delegation that vast opportunities of joint ventures exist in textile, engineering, pharmaceutical, agriculture and domestic appliances.
The Director General also apprised the delegation about incentives given by the South African government on joint ventures. He also stated that he would be visiting Pakistan in September to increase bilateral trade.
